Symposium Registration

The pricing structure for the 2024 Symposium will be different this year in hopes to alleviate extra or added fees as seen in 2023.
We will be implementing an early registration price with escalations as we get closer to the Symposium date.

  Before 8/5/24 After 8/5/24
CCA Members $450 $550
Non-Members $550 $650

This graduated fee schedule is to encourage those of us who procrastinate in making our plans to attend. This led to us incurring additional costs.

CCA Members: $450

ICAK Member $450
ACA Council Member $450
Licensed Acupuncturist $450
Non-Members: $550
Students: $100

In 2024, the ACA began handling the membership of the CCA and
they have been sending out invoices.

  1. Your membership renewal date will be established by the day you begin paying for CCA membership.
  2. Payments may be made in installments.
  3. You can choose to have your membership renewed by providing the ACA with your credit card.

It also means that we must abide by the rule regarding CCA membership. That will require all CCA members also maintain
membership with the ACA.

Many entities and states require that professional diplomats be recognized by an organization such as the ACA.

Remember that if you plan on maintaining your status as a diplomat, the ABCA requires you to attend a symposium every two years.

If you have let your DABCA lapse, there are relatively painless
options to reinstate your diplomat. If you have any questions about
your status with your diplomat, please email your ABCA board at
americanboardofchiroacu@gmail.com.

Doctors that sit for the DABCA exam are welcome to attend all of the events associated with the symposium as our guest.

Symposium State CEU disclaimer:

It is the responsibility of each participating doctor to be aware of CE rules and requirements of the state(s) in which he/she is licensed, including acceptable topics for CE and license-renewal credit. CCA is a PACE-approved CE provider via the ACA. For more information on PACE and a complete list of state licensing boards that accept PACE, follow this link:

Guest Speaker

Robert Chu, PhD, LAc., QME
Robert Chu, PhD, LAc., QME

Master Tung Ching Chang was born in Shandong Province, China. He moved to Taiwan during the Chinese revolution. His family lineage of acupuncture used a very different system than what became known as Traditional Chinese Medicine. He would have been
prosecuted if he had not conformed. Tung’s acupuncture utilizes distal points, allowing him to treat upwards of a 100 patients in a
day. His system is ideal for performing community acupuncture. Master Tung also stepped out of his family tradition by training many outside practitioners, including Miriam Lee.

Dr. Chu regularly lectures at Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, Five Branches in San Jose, University of East West Medicine in Sunnyvale, Ca., as an adjunct professor. He also lectures nationally and abroad on Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine to provide continuing education to MD’s and Acupuncturists. In 2005, he founded ITARA- International Tung’s Acupuncture Research Association, to preserve and research new applications in Master Tung system of Acupuncture with integrity, and open sharing.

***The seminar goes a little longer than last years so please make appropriate travel plans.***
